Mother Appeals for Financial Assistance to Treat Daughter's Debilitating Leg Injury

Adesewa Adeoye, a 35-year-old mother of two from Igara town in the Akoko Local Government Area of Edo State, is urgently seeking financial support to aid her five-year-old daughter, Eniola, who has been suffering from severe pain due to a leg fracture sustained while playing.

Eniola's ordeal began in October 2023 when she started experiencing difficulty walking and limping after a minor incident during playtime. What initially seemed like a minor injury has escalated into excruciating pain, rendering Eniola unable to walk and impeding her education as she misses school daily.

Despite attempts to seek traditional bone-setting treatment, Eniola's condition has shown no improvement, prompting Adeoye to seek medical intervention. After an x-ray revealed the severity of the injury, doctors recommended treatment and the application of a cast, commonly known as a POP (Plaster of Paris).

Financial constraints have hindered Adeoye's ability to continue her daughter's treatment, despite initial efforts to cover the expenses. As Eniola's pain persists, medical experts stress the importance of regular treatment over a six-month period to facilitate her recovery and regain mobility.

Dr. Alfred Tume, a consultant radiologist, emphasized the critical need for consistent medical attention, warning of potential long-term complications if treatment is not resumed promptly.

Adeoye appeals to compassionate individuals and organizations to lend support and contribute towards Eniola's medical expenses. Those willing to assist can make donations to Adeoye's account at Access Bank (Account number: 1477590407, Account name: Adesewa Aduke Adeoye).

The urgency of Eniola's situation underscores the importance of community support in providing essential healthcare for those in need.
