Kebbi State Governor Swears in 21 LG Administrators, Emphasizes Grassroots Engagement

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has inaugurated 21 local government administrators, urging them to prioritize grassroots engagement. The move follows the dissolution of elected chairmen and secretaries of the state's 21 LGs last month, due to the expiration of their tenure.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held at the Presidential Lodge in Birnin Kebbi, Governor Idris emphasized the importance of staying connected with the people at the grassroots level. He called on the administrators to work diligently and justify the confidence placed in them.

The governor highlighted the diverse composition of the new administrators, comprising both experienced politicians and young leaders. He underscored the need for mentorship, stating that seasoned politicians should guide the younger generation, who represent the future leadership.

In response, the Sole Administrator of Birnin Kebbi, Dahiru Nayaya-Ambursa, assured the governor of their unwavering support. Nayaya-Ambursa affirmed their commitment to driving positive development in their respective local government areas.

The statement issued by the governor's spokesman, Ahmed Idris, reiterated the administrators' pledge to uphold their responsibilities and contribute to the success of the governor's administration.
