AGN President Thanks Tinubu for Support in Zack Orji's Health Recovery
The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, expressed gratitude towards President Bola Tinubu for his support in the recovery journey of veteran actor Zack Orji. Orji recently traveled to the United Kingdom for post-surgery assessment.
In a statement released by the Guild’s Senior Special Adviser Media/Press Secretary, Femi Durojaiye, Rollas conveyed his appreciation on behalf of AGN. He specifically thanked Tinubu for his intervention and highlighted the care extended by Tinubu's family, including Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu, towards Orji's health.
The statement also acknowledged the support of Minister for Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy, and Orji’s longtime friend, Ahmed Bala, for their relentless efforts in ensuring Orji's recovery.
Rollas further commended Tinubu for his efforts to boost the creative industry, noting his significant support towards uplifting the sector.
Previously, rumors about Orji's death circulated, which were refuted by Rollas who confirmed that Orji underwent two successful brain surgeries. This update was reported by PUNCH on Thursday.
