The governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party, Paul Chukwuma, in the November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election, vowed to decisively tackle insecurity and allow businesses to thrive across all parts of the state.

Chukwuma said he will prioritise the restoration of law and order across all parts of Anambra currently experiencing security challenges as part of efforts to boost business activities, especially the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises that drive the state’s economy.

He stated this in Enugwu-Ukwu town, Njikoka LGA of the state, when he and his running mate were hosted by the founder of Mega Abbattoir and Suya Spot, Chief Michael Obidi, according to a press statement released by his media team on Monday.

Chukwuma, who was highly impressed by the entrepreneurial resilience of Chief Obidi, noted that it was remarkable that despite the harsh business environment in the state, Mega Abbattoir is thriving.
